We provide secure shipping throughout the lower 48 states as well as Puerto Rico, and we work directly with local customers to arrange the best way to receive their plants.

Tiny Titans™ — Our Signature Starters
We’re developing our Tiny Titans™ line — small, character‑rich trees selected for early structure and long‑term potential. These compact starters are ideal for collectors, gardeners, and bonsai hobbyists looking for unique material with personality. Availability is limited as we release new batches.
BOG Mix™ — Our Signature Soil
BOG Mix™ is the soil we’re developing for the long development stage that comes before a tree ever reaches its final bonsai mix. Most nursery stock arrives in cheap bark that works for a season, then compacts, sheds water, and slows growth. Boon mix is excellent for refinement, but it’s expensive and drains too aggressively for young trees. BOG Mix™ fills the middle ground — a practical, longer‑lasting blend that resists compaction, supports strong roots, and increases vigor during the 2–4 year pre‑bonsai stage. We use it selectively in‑house and will soon offer multiple configurations as we bring it to market.

About us
Bonsai of Gresham began as a small family project between Brian and his grandson Raylan, built around a love for unique trees and the satisfaction of growing them well. Over time, that hobby grew into a nursery focused on conifers, Japanese maples, and starter trees with structure and character — especially the many Hinoki Cypress (Chamaecyparis obtusa, Japanese cypress) and Japanese Cedar (Cryptomeria japonica) cultivars Raylan has come to love and collect. We believe in healthy roots, honest presentation, and treating every plant with care. From our home base in Gresham, Oregon, we provide dependable trees and straightforward service to gardeners, collectors, and bonsai enthusiasts throughout the lower 48 and Puerto Rico.
